I have been accepted to WGU! Pretty excited, and we moved the start date up to December 1st. My enrollment counselor was transitioning to another position at WGU so my enrollment decision was delayed a bit longer than the 10-bizday standard.
One negative that I learned during the enrollment process is that for most of the WGU classes they only accept industry certs for class transfer credits. Even though I did have a few credits from previous college attempts they weren't accepted. So if you have credits from other colleges and are expecting to transfer a large amount of those you may be slightly disappointed.
One positive is when they initially told me that for my BS there will be 13 certification that I'll be needing to get I was take aback. Many of those certifications are costly so I was fearing the "hidden" costs to the very inexpensive WGU fees. I was very happy to learn that all of the certifications they expect you to get for course credit are on a voucher system (aka "Free", aka already part of the cost of attendance)
